With multi-disciplinary academic training spanning economics, corporate finance, and commercial law, Arshad approaches legal challenges through a highly analytical corporate lens.

 He specializes in navigating high-stakes disputes with the South African Revenue Service (SARS), securing favourable tariff determinations, defending customs audits, and mitigating severe supply chain risks.

In addition to his private practice, Arshad has contributed to the development of the next generation of legal minds, having previously lectured in Company Law at the University of the Witwatersrand.

Professional Fee Structure:
Pahad Attorneys provides flexible, transparent billing models designed to align with corporate financial systems and procurement requirements.

Corporate & Commercial Services:

• Tailored Billing: Options include structured hourly rates, fixed-fee project billing, or monthly retainer models.
• Corporate Payment Terms: Standard 30-day invoicing options are available for verified corporate entities to accommodate internal accounts payable cycles.
• Regulatory Registrations: Customs, excise, and specialized trade registrations are billed at a negotiated flat rate. A 50% mobilization deposit is required, with the balance due upon completion.
Consultation & Advisory Services
• Strategic Consultations: Standard corporate briefings and initial assessments are billed at a flat rate of R3,000.
• Retainer Trust Accounts: General legal advice and litigation matters commence upon receipt of a mutually agreed-upon deposit into the firm's trust account.
